le petit portoise paris france

You know how all those celebrity folks go to rehab to take care of things like sex addiction, smoking, drinking and drugs?  Well, I’m no celebrity but I have decided to also go into rehab to address a chronic problem I am experiencing.  The problem I have is work related stress and fatigue.  The rehab facility I am going to check into is a series of vacations that will deplete my vacation balance.  I work pretty hard and I do get a good amount of vacation time but I never get to take it so I am just about maxed out.

I am off to Europe for work.  Can't get into all the nitty gritty of what I'm doing but the quote my all time favorite actor Tom Cruise in one of my all time favorite movies, Top Gun, "I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."  Not sure if that is the exact quote, but I think I got the spirit of the message.  I think this is the fifth time I've visited Paris, and I just love this city.  Like San Francisco, it has the perfect combination of big city vibe coupled with and artisan sensibility.
