Gosh I can't wait for the holidays to come around. I have nothing planned other than vegging out at home, watching a lot of sports and doing a lot of sports wagering. A lot of my friends and family have got such intricate plans for the holidays that involve a lot of boozing, snowboarding and traveling to exotic locations. Am I envious? Not really, except for the snowboarding part. I didn't snowboard at all last season and that is the one thing I want to do more than anything else.

I have a new hobby. It's called a half marathon. I like it because the word marathon is a cool word and it connotates pretty sweet athletic prowess. Also, lets not kid around, both mentally and physically, I am incapable of running a full marathon. So I was really bummed out when the Pasadena Marathon was cancelled several weeks ago because I was ready to roll.

I had a chance to hook up with my good friend Mike for lunch in Old Town Pasadena. We used to work together and we try to catch up over lunch at least once a month. He's got a lot of things cooking, I've got a lot of ideas regarding things that should be cooking and we get together over lunch so that we can enjoy somebody else's cooking.

While my cousins were in town I wanted to spend at least one night out on the town where us boys could have a little bit of fun. So I was lucky enough to get four free Lakers Tickets against the Toronto Raptors and we planned a night around the game.
