I made my last meal the best meal.  I first tried L'Atelier while on my honey moon back in early 2006.  Since then, the Joel Robuchon empire has continued to grow and there is a L'Atelier in Vegas at the MGM.  Regardless of their expansion, the food remains terrific.  I was stoked to be able to check it out again.

When I was on my honeymoon, we spent part of it in Paris.  We got a wonderful hotel in Place Madeleine which is near the grand boulevards.  In Place Madeleine which is a big square, there is a wonderful high end grocery store called Hediard.  I knew nothing about Hediard back then and we just stumbled upon it.  The place was founded by a dude named Ferdinand Hediard back in the 1850’s.

Damn, I need some Chinese food.  I’ve been walking around all day and running low on energy.  I found this place randomly on the street.  Surprisingly or maybe not so surprisingly, the Chinese food was actually really good.

My manly romance has reached a new high or maybe a low.  Tonight we headed over to Les Ombres Restaurant which sits above the Musee du quai Branly which has a truly spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower.  This place came pretty highly recommended from David’s cousin.
