I had an interesting separate conversations with my wife and brother regarding women taking their husband's last name as well as variations on the theme. Like adding the dreaded dash mark etc. What I found to be really interesting was that my brother who is younger than me seems to be way more traditional than I am. He told me that there was no way in hell his wife would keep her last name and that it was a must that she changed her last name.

You know what really bugs the sh*t out of me? Overly helpful people. People that try so hard to be "helpful" that they actually get in your way and cause everything to be more difficult because (a) you usually have to do what they did over because they did it wrong even though they meant well (b) they end up making you so uncomfortable because they try so hard that the stress and annoyance I get from these people makes it so not worth any "help" they may try to provide.

Being on the road and spending a lot of time in the hotel can be a dangerous thing for me.  Out of boredom I find myself more prone to buying things online or planning vacations 10 month out.  I also end up watching HBO all night catching up on movies since I never go out anymore.  So far I've seen Spiderman 3, Reign Over Me and Pirates of the Caribbean 3.  They were all OK.  Entertaining enough to kill time before I pass out.

I've spent the last three days in Boston and just flew back into LA yesterday.  I am going to write in reverse chronological order because the happenings coming back to LA needs to be documented immediately before I forget all the details.  It was pretty crazy.  The ironic thing is that in my post yesterday, I wrote about why I write this blog and how I wanted to document my life for Buddy just in case I went down in a plane crash?  Well damn, I guess I almost jinxed myself.
