I am horribly sad, today is our last day in Maui and we are headed back to Hell A. Do any of you have any idea how much I cannot stand Hellay? We've spent the last 4 weeks or so traveling the islands, we've met some awesome people, ate some delicious foods and most importantly I have new drinking buddies on all of the islands. But not to fret, we'll be back at the end of this month to spend Thanksgiving with our family on the Big Island.

God I am so hung over. I am rolling around with my brains seemingly oozing out of my ears. I swear, I am never having a drink again. Or at least not for a few days anyways. I wonder what most people do to cure a hangover? I know there are all kinds of different remedies, but what I is try to sweat it out. Maybe it's more of a mental thing but it seems to me that when I do sweat out a hang over, all the gnarly toxins are exiting my body, I can rehydrate with a lot of water and I usually am good to go.

So the wife and I drove up to Haleakala National Park today. My brother kept telling me to go there for the sunrise, but that would have meant that I would have to wake up at 2AM to get to the peak in time to see the sunrise. Trust me, after the amount of liquor I've been consuming, there was no way this was going to happen. So we decided to go up to see sunrise instead. This worked out much better because this allowed me to sleep in until 2PM and then on the way back down, we could go to the Hali'imaile General Store which is a tasty treat.

The wife and I headed over to Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar for dinner. I love this place because the food is pretty good but they also provide a great Kama'aina discount. So here is the lowdown. On Sundays and Mondays, you can get 50% off all food ordered by 6PM. For non Kama'aina, you get 25% off. For late night dining on Thursday and Friday (10PM - 1AM) you can also get 50% off the late night sushi and appetizer menu. They bust out the karaoke if you are into that sort of thing.
