We just recently moved from our cooler, more comfortable, more central central home in Venice Beach to the hotter, more suburban, less central area of Arcadia. Everything we do is because of the kid. I grew up in Arcadia and with both me and my wife working full time, we needed some help with Buddy. So being closer to my parents gives us a free, trustworthy babysitter and free, trustyworthy help. 

I am sure all parents think this but I swear to God, I think my kid is so freaking cute that he can be a baby model. Sure he will never be a Gerber baby model but I bet he could model for some crazy Korean baby clothes commercial. I wonder if it would make me a bad dad to pimp him out for some modeling work. It may permanently damage him but maybe it can pay for Stanford.

I am currently training for the Pasadena Marathon which takes place in November. This is the inaugural marathon and I am excited to be part of it. I have decided that I am going to run, walk, crawl or bike this marathon every year until I die. It's kind of cool of have such a contrived strategy of longevity. I'm 34 now so, in 66 years when I'm 100, I'll probably be in the LA Times with some freaky writer making me his cover story. The senile, decrepit old Korean dude taking 79 hours 26 minutes and 15 seconds to run the half of one step marathon. It's going to be dope.

I've been having a lot of chats with Buddy. It's mostly been a lot of gibberish and baby talk going back and forth but I assure you we are spending some serious man time together and have got lots of important man things to talk about. But sometimes I wonder if Buddy is thinking to himself, what the heck is wrong with this weird looking guy making weird noises?
