My stay down here on Coronado Island is rapidly coming to a close.  I’m neither happy or sad about it.  Apathy and indifference is all that consumes me right now.  I need to shape up though, I have the Pasadena Marathon coming up at the end of the month.  I am so not focused on it though.  Like when I was in college, I tend to cram for everything.

I am watching a show on TLC about the world’s only documented autistic savant pair of twins.  It’s like a freaky ass real world Rain Man.  Their genius lies with the fact that they can do crazy computations with dates both in the future and in the past.  For example, if you were to ask them, what day of the week does March 23, 2030 fall on, they will give it to you.  Also, they love Dick Clark.  Who doesn’t, right?

Dude, I turned 35 years old.  Damn!  I’ve read about stories about children having a hard time dealing with their aging parents and all the issues involved with that and Buddy told me he is very sad that I am basically rotting away in front of his eyes.  Not sure how to address all his concerns other than saying, hey, I am working out a lot and maintaining a relatively clean lifestyle.  I should be around for another forty years.
